ABOUT US - ABOUT THE ALBUM

"The Change Is Me" is undoubtedly Doodseskader at their most free - a record that refuses to sit still long enough to be defined. At its core, Doodseskader is two musicians who make music as an honest reflection of themselves, letting their work speak through them, completely free from any set of rules.

Their latest release moves freely between sounds and moods instead of settling into just one: synth, Mellotron, and intricately layered production paired with a vocal range spanning rapping, hard-tuned vocals, singing and more make for an album that grabs you by the arm and asks if you're ready to go on a grand adventure, then pulls you into its chaos before you can say "yes" or "no." With "The Change Is Me," Doodseskader prove that the best music is the kind no one saw coming.

The laundry list of other artists Doodseskader has been compared to is never-ending: from Ho99o9 to EsDeeKid, Machine Girl to Odd Future, Korn to Opium to Nine Inch Nails, Internet Girl to Sidewalks and Skeletons to ICEP3AK, the shoe never quite fits.  Doodseskader sit defiantly in the pilot’s seat of a category all their own; an all-new modern sound that is undoubtedly the future of artistic expression in a world increasingly oversaturated by music “for fans of” artist XYZ that makes you ask, “haven’t I heard that somewhere before?”

For those looking for a breath of truly fresh air: you’ve found it here.
